How to Craft the Halloween Party Invitation Card Skull

1. Print Skull and Your Text

You can craft this Halloween invitation card with very little material.
A good brush will help draw clean lines

To make the Halloween party invitation card skull, first download the skull template and copy it into a Word document. Format it to the size: height 14.8 cm, width 9 cm. Underneath it, write “Zombie Holocaust” Halloween Party Invitation (or your preferred text) in font size 25 and print out the template. Leave enough space between the skull and the text.

2. Paint on the Skull and Decorative Borders

Using black acrylic paint, color in the pre-drawn lines

Now cut out the folded card from black clay paper with the dimensions: Height: 14.5 cm, Width: 21 cm. Then cut out a rectangle from orange cardboard with the dimensions 14.7 cm, width 9.5 cm. Put the printed template for the motif of the Halloween invitation cards on the orange cardboard and transfer it to the center with carbon paper.

I modified the template – if you want to do the same, leave out the parts of the skull that you want to add yourself in pencil (and don’t forget to scan and copy this new template for the next cards).

Tip: Use a blank ballpoint pen and fix the template on the cardboard with a paper clip, so that it does not slip.

Now paint the pre-drawn lines with black acrylic paint. Finally, paint the teeth white and outline the orange card with a white frame.

Cut out the text and leave a margin around it. So that it fits exactly between the teeth it should have the following dimensions: Width 6 cm, height 3.5 cm. Frame it with black acrylic paint.

If you want to save yourself the work of painting all the cards, scan the orange card and print it out with a color printer in the number you want!

3. Score the Insert Pocket and Glue on the Elements Onto the Halloween Party Invitation Card Skull

The text must fit exactly between the teeth

Use the cutter to cut out the pocket for the text of the Halloween invitation cards along the teeth. Of course, you can also put the text between the teeth – but then the lower row of teeth will be covered.

Use the glue stick to stick the orange motif card in the middle of the front of the folded card and the four Halloween decoration spiders in the corners and push the invitation text into the pocket.
