Description
Easter Egg Rolling is the perfect game to play after the Easter egg hunt: Each player starts with 5 Easter eggs, and there is a supply of additional Easter eggs in the center of the table. For this game, it is important to have as many different types of Easter eggs as possible. Additionally, each player receives one of the rule cards, which you can download here.
Now, players take turns rolling the dice, and depending on the rolled number, an action is performed. Depending on the rule card you have and the number rolled, the actions can be quite different, but they all have one thing in common: at least one egg changes hands. Sometimes eggs are exchanged, or a player may take an additional egg from the supply. This way, the Easter eggs are constantly being redistributed in a playful manner. The game continues for as long as you like – you can set a timer, for example, for 5 or 10 minutes.
To ensure that everyone is happy at the end, you can balance the number of Easter eggs among all players by distributing eggs from the supply so that everyone has the same amount or so that it is fair.
Game Variant
With slightly older children, you can also play a variant using two different-colored dice. Number the 6 rule cards, and one die determines which rule card to follow, while the other indicates which rule applies.
