Handstamped, coloured and designed with love. A Stampin up congrats on newborn baby card is a wonderful welcome greeting. With baby stamp sets, paper and Washi Decor tape, you can easily make this greeting card for the birth.
There are beautiful baby stamp sets that are really fun to get creative with. I used stamps from two stamp sets for this card, without which I can no longer do without a baby card. At the latest when it comes to signing, a baby stamp for my sweet little one has been added to the card since I became a mum. I also like to use Washi Tape and Washi Tape stickers made of rice paper. They look great and are super flexible to use. If you take a look around Greatime, you will discover some more cards. 🙂
At the latest since I became a mum myself, I appreciate a handmade birthday card and every baby gets a welcome greeting from me made with love. I have filled a treasure chest for my daughter with mementos of her birth and first year of life. It thrives on creative little surprises and is filled with greeting cards from family and friends, her first toys, birth bracelet and snapshots with the Polaroid camera. If you’re still looking for a little gift for the birth, this is a super nice idea where your card is sure to get a place of honour.

How to Craft a Personalised Stampin up Congrats on Newborn Baby Card
Craft the heart of the card with cute designs on the front of the card, the only self-written details are the words Hello and the name of the baby for whom the Stampin up card is intended. All the other beautiful details and motifs are stamped. I like to design the front and the inside of the card to match. There is still room for a nice congratulations on the birth and a few personal lines and the card is not so empty.
Time: 20-30 minutes

- Cut a 9.5 x 14 cm rectangle from light blue clay paper
- Then draw a 7 cm x 7 cm square on the zigzag motif paper and another on the insert paper that comes with the double card and cut them both out.
- Then cut a 5 cm wide and 9.5 cm long strip from the white inlay paper lengthwise with the pinking shears.
- Write Hallo Babyname in the centre of the white square and stamp the baby bottle in the top left corner, the dummy in the top right and the baby’s face under the baby’s name and colour in the motifs with felt tip pens. Finally, draw a fine line all around the edge with a fineliner.
- Tape a 0.5 cm wide strip of light blue clay paper along the bottom jagged edge of the paper strip and stick the silver bow border from the Washi Decor Tape set on the top.
- Stamp the baby in the car seat on the remaining white inlay paper, colour the motif and cut it out.
- Now glue the zigzag square diagonally first and on top of it the designed square with the motifs. It takes up about the upper 2/3 of the baby card.
Now glue the jagged paper strip with the border onto the lower third of the card and finally glue the baby bowl onto it in the middle.
Designing the Inside of the Card
I used a bunch of Washi Sticker hearts on the inside and added strings and bows to them as balloons with permanent marker. They carry the baby from the stamp set by Poetry Paper.
On the right, I stuck a 0.5 cm wide strip of clay paper next to the text page and stuck the bow border on the top edge of the card.
Have fun making your own stampin up congrats on newborn baby card!
